The land area is 25,000 sq meters or 6 acres. Spread over multiple stone walled terraces on a hillside. Planted with old olive groves with at least a dozen ancient 100 to 200-year-old trees, two large idle vineyards fields, fruit trees and approx 1 acre of mature pine forest. 

The Land is fertile: Citrus, Olives, Figs, Almonds, and Grapes are the predominant crops in the area. Vegetables can be grown all year. We produce our own olive oil. The oranges, Mandarins, Lemons, and Figs are world-class, as are the vegetables. The land here has been farmed forever. The fields are terraced with stone walls, many of which are two hundred years old. With over 300 days a year of blue skies and sunshine, Growing Mediterranean food here is easy.

The altitude is approx 300 meters. The property has lots of wildlife: Squirrels, Countless Doves and Songbirds, Rabbits, Foxes, and Owls are resident. Visits by Seagulls from the beach are frequent. The property is surrounded by mature forest which is fenced and virtually inaccessible to the public, it has a multitude of wildlife which you see often. 

At the bottom of the hill there are 25 acres of vineyards to take sunset walks or to jog—it is directly accessible to the property. It is a beautiful piece of land isolated by the forest and a long dead end road with no through traffic and only a handful of houses on big lots.-- Its secluded and peaceful location is its most redeeming quality.


Location

A secluded and serene natural setting, yet only an 8-minute drive from Benissa's many supermarkets and the A7 express way -- 45 minutes from Alicante airport and 80 minutes from Valencia airport. The beaches are fifteen minutes away. The satellite photos illustrate its privileged location. 

There is lots of great mountain hiking and every kind of beach nearby, Barcelona is an easy 3-hour train ride, Madrid is 90 minutes on the high speed train from Alicante, Paris is a two-hour flight and Majorca and Ibiza are a 2-hour ferry from nearby Denia, Morocco is an overnight ferry from Almeria

''I have lived on the property for 23 years and raised my children here. I currently live alone next door in the old stone house in the photos. Spending approximately six months a year there. I lived in the house for sale for 12 years. My kids are gone, and I do not need all these houses, so I am reluctantly selling one. 

Having lived all over the world—I love it here. It is very quiet and peaceful, there is lots of nature, zero crime, and the weather is the best in Europe. Only two months a year does it sometimes dip below 10 degrees centigrade (50 F.) -- in January and February. Many a December, I am pruning my olive trees in shorts. It is an easy place to live.''
