Costa Blanca South

The Costa Blanca South is an extremely popular destination for people who relocate to Spain for a better way of life. There are miles of blue flag beaches for you to choose from which have beach bars scattered along the beachfront serving amazing tapas and drinks. This beautiful place is also well-known for its good golf courses. Most of the best golf courses are situated around Orihuela Costa. 

This coast is much drier and flatter than Norther part of the Costa Blanca. The southern part is flatter and is has the beautiful large sandy beaches. The vegetation consists of palm trees, orange trees and lemon trees. The south Costa Blanca is also more typical “Spanish”. The coastline of the South Costa Blanca is flat  with salt lakes and even mud lakes.

The Costa Blanca South has a Mediterranean climate, with mild, relatively rainy winters and hot, sunny summers. Because of its exposure to the southeast,  there is a mild and sunny microclimate. Even in mid-winter, there are many sunny days, with daytime temperatures reaching or exceeding 20 °C.
