Where is Playa Flamenca located?

Playa Flamenca has a favourable location on the coast of the Costa Blanca in Spain.  It belongs to Orihuela Costa's municipality. It’s in the most Southern part of the Alicante province, bordered by La Zenia, Punta Prima, and Villamartin. This town enjoys Alicante/Elche airport together with Murcia airport both 45 minutes away. The N-332 coastal road, AP-7 motorway, plus excellent public transport make this area easily accessible.
This coasts the largest shopping centre, La Zenia Boulevard, is only 3 minutes away. Furthermore, it’s eight minutes from the famous Villamartin Golf course. Playa Flamenca is rich in amenities for its size. First, we have three renowned sandy beaches, that have been awarded for their safe and clean environment. Cala Mosca, as well as Cala las Estacas, lie within coves, surrounded by the promenade. The third beach is more secluded and can only be reached over sandy pathways. Here is also one designated beach for dogs. During summer, lifeguards ensure your safety. Also, for the thrill-seekers there is a variety of water sports.


Playa Flamenca's promenade with palm trees makes for nice walks along the beach. There are plenty of beach bars and restaurants as well. Shopping & sports

Playa Flamenca's community also offers supermarkets such as Mercadona, Carrefour or Lidl. For more shopping, there is La Zenia Boulevard shopping centre. Furthermore, Punta Prima provides a go-kart track and a sports complex. Here you’ll find a football pitch, a heated indoor pool, tennis courts as well as a gym.

Important services

Torrevieja's nearest hospital is only 7 minutes by car. There are frequent buses, as well as easily accessible taxis. Other important services like veterinarians, dentists, English-speaking nurseries and pharmacies can be found locally.  Saturday market

Every Saturday morning from 8 AM—2 PM the street of Pintor Ribera transforms into a colourful street market. On route, it has a nice Irish/Spanish pub for breakfast or drinks.

How is the climate in Playa Flamenca?

This area of the Costa Blanca is particularly lucky, due to its geographical location. The salt lakes from neighbouring Torrevieja, with mountain ranges plus the absence of heavy traffic, create a unique local climate. The WHO has called this one of the healthiest climates worldwide, because of its clean air. People with skin conditions, rheumatic issues, or respiratory problems are well of in this area. Besides that, this Mediterranean climate boosts out an average of 325 sunny days per year with an average temperature of 19,3 Celsius.

How is the property market in Playa Flamenca?

Playa Flamenca provides a varied real estate market. Its seafront residential area is small, so beachfront properties tend to sell quickly.
